Bio

Ben Chrisman is an independent documentary photographer based in San Francisco, California. His travels have taken him around the world, and his work has been featured in the country's leading news publications, including The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Washington Post, National Geograhic and USA Today. He has studied with some of the world's predominant photojournalists (James Nachtwey, Gary Knight and Antonin Kratochvil) and his work covering the tsunami in Southeast Asia was featured in a solo exhibit at Unit D Gallery in Santa Fe in 2006.
